Some things we forgot to mention 
Things about the trip we forgot to mention:
We had to car the bikes a total of 100 miles during our entire trip due to rainy weather and a bridge being closed.
In Atlantic Beach, we had trouble finding our way to A1A to catch the ferry. We stopped to ask a parked police officer for directions. He said “turn here, turn there, and turn again, and you will hit A1A”. So off, we went. Low and behold, he decided to follow us and we nearly jumped off our bikes when over his loud speaker, he said “TURN RIGHT HERE”!
People are so kind, we stopped at numerous gas stations and they always gave us ice for our drinks. At one station, they even gave us a free Pina Colada slushy. We must have looked beat, because that was our 100 mile day.
Seven out of the eleven days, the skies opened up and poured within thirty minutes of us reaching our destination.
