The Aran Islands-July 1st

 

The three Aran Islands of Inis Mór (Inishmore), Inis Meáin (Inishmaan) and Inis Oírr (Inisheer) are located off the west coast of Galway. From the time we boarded the ferry for the 45 minute ride to the largest of the Aran Islands, we knew it was going to be fun. Here is Pam posing with fellow passengers.

These Welshmen appeared to have started the day drinking Guiness and were feeling no pain. The kilts were flying up and down and all around. Some of these guys worn biking shorts under the kilts but we certainly saw more than we cared to under others. If you look carefully you can see that some of the Welshmen had pink slips under their kilts…these guys had a triple chain ring on their bike which the others considered wimpish.
