The Brazen Hill

 

Our ride today goes over the rolling countryside pass stunning scenery dotted with stone walls and medieval churches. Catherine, our tour guide, considers most of the hills as cheeky little hills but today we encounter a quite brazen hill that few people get up without stopping. The hill itself is only ¼ mile high but goes up at a 17% grade. The last 200 feet become even steeper and is the killer for many. 

Our group has 6 cyclists that make it to the top. Even Catherine makes it for the first time.
