On these interesting roads, the DOT has put in passing lanes on the hills. The problem is that the road isn't any wider, the DOT just did away with the biking lanes on each side of the road. The numerous bridges and the one tunnel we went through also had no bike lanes. I guess I will have some tense miles ahead as I navigate these twisting, winding areas.
