Onward We Bike
Onward Eastward 
Day 23 – Wednesday, March 23 75.6 miles 1273 total miles
55 miles from our Adobe House to the Outback Oasis Hotel in Sanderson, Texas ( the cactus capital of Texas according to the sign at the edge of town)
The weather all day was sunny, breezy (not tailwinds). We traveled on state hwy 90 all day; the traffic was almost nonexistent as we biked through the lonely countryside of cacti, sagebrush and mesquite scrub trees.
We met up briefly with our biker friends who were heading back to Dallas. That was our main excitement for the day until a blue pickup truck stopped to see if we needed a lift as the winds (head and cross) were getting up to 25 - 30mph. He told us when he was a boy, he was riding in these winds and it just about did him in. It must of as he still remembers the experience.
This was a day to make up miles. We rode to Dryden.
