Along the Straight and Narrow

Day 34 miles77.9 1967 total miles
Our day started early as we cheered a group of pro bikers off on a time trial race. There were over 400 pro and amateur bikers of all ages racing in time trials in the little town of Cold Springs, TX. It was exciting to see them so pumped up with energy so early (7:30am) in the morning.
The rest of our day to Silsbee was uneventful as we travelled the long and straigth roads of Texas back country. The roads were straight but the white lines were a bit questionable.
The great thing about today was NO WIND. Mind you we did get chased by a greyhound - dog not bus! We did a short half mile sprint at speeds of 35 mph. Not bad for a couple of old gals!
