Another Day In Texas 
Day 31 finds us still in Texas. What can we say...Texas is a big state!
We had an easy day of only 40 miles from Bastrop to La Grange making our mileage a grand total of 1747 miles.
Our day started at 10:30 am with a 15 mile ride through Bastrop State Park and then Buescher State Park. We thought it was going to be a nice shady easy ride but the parks were full of windy roads with several steep grade to climb.
Once out of the parks we were on the farm roads and ranch roads again. We have never figured out what the difference between the roads are but the scenery and colors in the fields at this time of year is breathtaking.
We arrived early at La Grange to make the day almost seem like a rest day.
Tomorrow we pay as we will have a long ride to College Station.
