Bud and the Biker Girls
Bud and the Biker Girls

Day 24 – Thursday, March 24 101.4 miles 1375 total miles
We left the Outback Oasis Motel all packed with bikes loaded on the back to drive to Dryden our stopping point of the previous day.
This was to be a long day and it looked like the weather was going to cooperate – warm sunny skies and very light winds.
16 miles from Dryden, we met Bud Schwab and his gang who are installing fiber optic lines from El Paso to Del Rio for MCI. A bit of history in the making.
We lunched at Langtry, the town built by Judge Roy Bean – the hanging judge. It was funny seeing this part of history in real life and not just in the movies.
Onward and onward eastward we rode, up and down hills, over canyons to finally arrive in Del Rio.
