Day 46 – Friday, April 15, 2005

We left our delightful stay at the Holiday Inn Express by 9:10 am under cloudless skies and light winds.
The ride today was easy as we were to stay on state road 90 all the way to DeFuniak Springs. The temps were nice at 78 and traffic was light.
We stopped at Crestview for lunch and then after a four mile “misturn” detour had an uneventful ride to our night's stop.
Richard, on the other hand, made a quick stop at Walmart and then lost us for the rest of the afternoon. We haven’t figured out how he missed us on the road going eastward. But as we were stopped at the side of the road for a snack, we saw him speed by heading westward. We were snug at the hotel by the time he caught up to us.
Richard's sagging needs improvement but he now knows all the bumps and turns along this section of the road.
