April 5, 2005 Rest Day in DeRidder, LA
We lazed around today, cleaned our bikes and explored the area. Oh yes we even had a newspaper interview!
One thing not to miss in DeRidder is a Cream Sno Ball. It was hard to choose a flavor since were at least 30 different flavors for the cream ones alone plus lots more for the regular sno balls to pick from. I don't know how they made them but Tom, the owner, told me that he makes the ice extra fine so the cream and flavoring blend in better.
It was an all around great treat for me and one not to be missed if you should go to DeRidder.
