Pow-Wow
Pow-Wow

As we were wandering the streets of Chattahoochee, we saw several people dressed in Native American garb. We soon discovered that there was an annual pow wow being held in the park.
We ate a quick dinner and then headed for the park (which was only 1/8 of a mile away but in Georgia - another state to add to the list. The festivities had started by the time we got there.
Just as they started a Cree prayer for all veterans (current and past) an eagle flew over head. At first, we thought it was a planned flight but suddenly realized that the eagle flew on and was soon out of sight. An American Indian woman standing beside me explained that the eagle was a sign sent by the Gods to let everyone know they heard the prayers.
We all felt a strange feeling - not eerie or anyhting like that but just different
